The Detroit News reports that Lions rookie RB Jahvid Best is turning heads at minicamp. He has impressed his teammates all offseason, including Wednesday when the final minicamp began. “We’re not in pads, we’re not really tackling and everything,” Best said. “But, I mean, it does feel good to kind of get in the open field and go.” His teammates like what they see. “You hear about how explosive Best is and then you see him catch a ball in the flat, stick his foot in the ground and get up field like a Mustang,” Burleson said. “He’s just extremely explosive.
